Every great adventure begins around a table.
Inspired by the ideals of King Arthur’s Round Table, I believe tabletop role-playing is at its best when every player has a voice and every character has a chance to matter. The Game Master may guide the journey, but the story belongs to everyone gathered around the table.
Whether I’m weaving tales from behind the screen or stepping into another player’s world, my goal is always the same: to create memorable adventures, meaningful characters, and stories that remain with us long after the final die is rolled.
So pull up a chair. There will always be a place for another knight at the Game Table.
Tales From My Throne
The Game Master’s chair is where I feel most at home. Every adventure I create is built around the belief that memorable stories come from collaboration, meaningful choices, and characters whose actions truly matter. My role isn’t to tell my story—it’s to build a world where players can discover theirs.
My favorite tales are those filled with mystery, atmosphere, and the unknown. Call of Cthulhu is my primary game, and I enjoy running it in a variety of settings, from the classic intrigue of the 1920s, to the elegance of Regency England, to the uncertainty of the modern day. Each setting offers a unique lens through which to explore cosmic horror and the resilience of the human spirit.
I also enjoy running Dread, where suspense isn’t measured by dice, but by an increasingly unstable Jenga tower. Every pull quickens the heartbeat, every wobble draws a collective breath, and fear becomes something the players experience right alongside their characters.
Over the years, I’ve also had the pleasure of running Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition, Mutants & Masterminds, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Cinematic Unisystem). Each system has broadened my perspective as a Game Master, but they’ve all reinforced the same lesson: the best adventures are the ones players help create.
My Court of Characters
Every adventure leaves its mark, and every character becomes part of the stories we carry with us. While you’ll most often find me behind the Game Master’s screen, I treasure the opportunities to step into another storyteller’s world and experience an adventure from the other side of the table.
The members of my court are more than character sheets—they’re companions on journeys filled with triumph, heartbreak, laughter, and discovery. Some will remain here for years, while others may one day retire to make room for new heroes and new adventures.
Below are the current members of my court. Their stories are still unfolding, and I look forward to seeing where their paths will lead next
Lady Ciara Blackwood

Columbus In Darkness:
One World by Night Vampire the Masquerade LARP.
Graceful, thoughtful, and endlessly curious, Ciara Blackwood walks the line between witchcraft and scholarship. Raised in the coastal marshes of Georgia, she cultivated herbs, prepared medicines, and practiced divination. Her twin sister, Marina, was gifted with sewing, embroidery, crystal work, and comforting those around her.
Though the decades have passed, Ciara’s style remains rooted in the 1950s. She favors elegant vintage dresses, carefully styled auburn hair, and timeless accessories that reflect the era she still thinks of as home.
Those passions continue to shape Ciara’s unlife. Through her magical studies and online Wicca store, Veiled Haven, she honors the traditions she and Marina once shared, blending craftsmanship, herbalism, and modern witchcraft.
More than power or prestige, Ciara seeks a place to truly belong—a community where she can be accepted for who she is while continuing to grow, serve those around her, and carry her sister’s legacy into the nights ahead.
Heka

Civilian Identity: Professor Briar Grimshaw
Game: Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game
When a mysterious, hooded sorceress first appeared wielding ancient Egyptian magic, the media needed a name. Inspired by the forgotten god whose symbols surrounded her, they dubbed the enigmatic hero Heka.
By day, Briar Grimshaw is a respected Professor of Egyptology at the University of Chicago, devoted to preserving the history and wisdom of ancient Egypt. By night, she serves as the chosen avatar of Heka, the often-overlooked Egyptian god of magic.
Through ancient spells, protective wards, devastating Hex Bolts, and her remarkable Powerful Hex, Heka’s champion stands against supernatural threats that most of the world never realizes exist. To those who witness her abilities, they appear to be expressions of Heka’s ancient magic alone.
Though the world sees only a mysterious hooded protector, Briar believes the greatest magic has never been power—it’s the chance to choose who we become.
